Catholic Sabha was started on April 29,1979, under the guidance and support of the Bishop. The motive of this association is – Serve, Sacrifice, Unite. This association is now registered under “All India Catholic Union”.

In Pernal, the Catholic Sabha was born on September 27, 2009. Every year this organization works hard for the development and upliftment of local community as well as the Church and the neighborhood. They conduct programs like health check camps, honoring high scoring students with Pratibha Puraskar,etc., Making and renewal of Manipal Health Cards, Visiting the Old aged and patients, helping the poor specially during festivals with food, money or clothes, etc. Every parish priest in Pernal has supported the organization and mentored them well.

Catholic Sabha is an association of the laity and they work hard for the betterment of the society
