Maundy Thursday – Celebration of last supper of the Lord – 2025

Hands that fold to pray and worship also should open to serve others, because service to humanity is service to humanity said Rev Fr Vincent Crasta, Secretary, Catholic Education Society of Udupi preaching a homily on the occasion of Moundy Thursday celebration. Lord makes himself an example by bending to the lowest,humbling himself till the feet of the disciples to wash the feet, till the manger to the Cross he narrated.
The ceremony of washing the feet was conducted by Rev Fr Jerome Monteiro, Parish Priest and headed the celebration. Fr Pascal Menezes joined concelebration. At the end of the celebration the blessed sacrament was placed at the altar of repose to mark the beginning of Good Friday.
PPC members and faithful were present in large numbers.
