Celebration of the Last Supper, institution of the Holy Eucharist and Holy Priesthood: Maundy Thursday

The Maundy Thursday service was held at Our Lady of Fatima Church, Pernal today April 06, 2023. Fr Ivan D’Souza, Professor of Philosophy, St Joseph’s interdiocesan Seminary, Jepoo, Mangalore was the main celebrant.
Preaching a meaningful homily, Fr D’Souza emphasized on the meaning of the act of Jesus washing the feet of his disciples in the last supper. Adding on to his narration Fr Ivan D’Souza also stressed on the institution of the Holy Eucharist and Holy Priesthood.
Fr Anand Castelino OFM (Cap), Fr Jerome Monteiro the Parish Priest, Fr Pascal Menezes were present in the Concelebration. 

The parish pastoral committee members and parishioners attended the service in large numbers. The service ended with Adoration of the blessed Sacrament in the Altar of Repose.
