International Women’s day celebration

Imagining a world without the compassionate contribution of a woman brings fear said Fr Jerome Monteiro, Parish Priest wishing parish women on women’s day celebrations. He was giving pre concluding remarks in a Holy Mass offered for the intentions of all the women of the parish fellowship. We appluaud your involvement, contribution and above all the selfless sacrifices you make to build and maintain healthy families he added.

The celebrations were followed by a mini gathering of women in the church premises with fun games and relaxation.

Fr Jerome Monteiro, Parish Priest, was the chief guest and Mrs. Sunitha Noronha, Deanery President and Mrs. Marina Lobo, Deanery treasurer and Sr Veronica SSpS from the convent were the guest of honour.

Games were conducted for young and old and refreshments were served.

Mrs Leena Dsouza, Vice President of PPC spoke on the occassion to appreciate the efforts of women’s association in putting up a meaningful program. Mrs Cynthia Pinto, Secretary of PPC and Mrs Hilda Castelino, president of the parish women’s association were present.

Mrs teacher Irene Mendonca compered the program.
