Receiving and Adoration of the RYC Holy Cross

Pernal, 14 Aug 2022: The Holy Cross that is on move in the parishes of Shirva Deanary of the Regional Youth Commission (RYC) was received at Our Lady of Fatima Church, Pernal on August 14, 2022 at 3.30 pm. Parish Priest Rev Fr Jerome Monteiro along with Rev.Fr. Pascal Menezes and a good number of parishioners and ICYM members welcomed the procession from Mudarangadi parish lead by Parish Priest Rev. Fr Fredrick D’Souza.

The ICYM unit of our parish was the host of the adoration of the Holy Cross. All the ten wards were given time for the ward wise adoration on August 15, 2022  from 10.00 am till 3.30 pm.

On August 15, 2022 at 3.50 pm  the Holy Cross was taken to St Theresa Church, Mukamar with devotion and reverence by representatives of ICYM members along with Parish Priests and Parish council dignatories.
