Annual Feast (Vodle Fest) Celebration.

The annual Parish feast of Our Lady of Fatima Church, Pernal was celebrated with much devotion and ferver today, Wednesday, November 16, 2022 with a solemn Mass. Very Rev. Father Leslie D’Souza, the Parish Priest of Our Lady of Health Church, Shirva and Vicar Forane was the main celebrant along with 17 other Priests from Shirva Deanery and also other guests priests.

In his homily Very Rev. Fr. Leslie D’Souza stressed upon the qualities of Mother Mary and importance of her garces in everyone’s life.

Mrs Leena D’Souza, Secretary of the Parish Pastoral Council, read the list of honour of the Parish and Rev Fr Jerome Monteiro, Parish Priest did the honours.

Fr Jerome Monteiro, Parish Priest thanked all the Reverend Fathers and religious sisters for attending in large numbers and PPC members, various ecclesiastical associations and parishioners for contributing their might for the celebration.

The Parish choir sung the liturgy hymns to their fullest melody lead and directed by Rev. Fr Pascal Menezes.
The ICYM team had put up the stall with fun games to add spice to the celebration.
The devotees from all walks of life walked up to the shrine of Our Lady of Fatima to offer candles and their reverence.
