Vado Fest and SCC Meet at St. Francis Xavier Ward.

The people of St Francis Xaviour – Erbet Ward gathered today Sunday, December 04, 2022 at Mr Joseph Mendonca house to celebrate the ‘Vado Fest’ with ferver and devotion to honour their ward patron St Francis Xavier.

Speaking on the occassion Rev. Fr Jerome Monteiro, Parish Priest, spoke on the works of St Francis Xavier to spread the faith in our country and his contributions to the church as a member priest if the Society of Jesus.
Mr Anil Danthy, Animator for ICYM unit applauded the efforts of all the ward members to keep the ward in good spirit.
The ward members felicitated Mr and Mrs Antony Mendonca ( Anthu Master) for being the senior most couple. Students who have had excelled academics were falucitated. The younger kids put up creative dance performance.

Everyone gathered had suptuous meal prepared by the ward members. Fr Pascal Menezes, Sister Pauline Pereira SSpS, Superior, Kripalaya Convent, Mrs Leena D’Souza, Secretary for PPC, Mrs Violet Lobo, co ordinator for diocesan comissions, Mr Jeevan Lobo, President of ICYM, gurkars and guests were present.

Mr Prakash Mendonca compered the program and Mrs Lona Mendonca proposed vote of thanks.

The ward members indeed had put up a brilliant program and every ward member have projected a lot of goodwill to make this program happen meaningfully.
