All the parishioners should be thankful to the Lord for the good rain, good crops and good health and sustenance said Fr Roshan Dsouza, Chancellor of the Diocese of Udupi. He was preaching a meaningful homily on the occasion of the ‘Monthy Festh’ as the main celebrant. He took children around him and asked them a few questions on the birth of Mary and narrated the relevance of vegetarian dishes generally cooked on this occasion in the region. He stressed along his homily the importance of forgiveness, compassion, generosity, simplicity and ultimately the joy of being kind to each other like Mary.
