The ICYM unit of the parish organised a ward-wise Marian singing competition for the people on August 25, 2024 in the parish hall. Opening the competition Rev Fr Jerome Monteiro, Parish Priest said certain traditions add vigour and energy to our life, because taking time out from our routine matters to everyone he added. He congratulated the ICYM unit for keeping up the tradition of putting up such interesting programs.

Nine out of ten wards participated in the competition. Ms. Jenitha Andrade from Belman and Ms. Wilcita D’Souza from kanajar assisted in judging the competition.

On a concluding note Rev Fr Pascal Menezes thanked the judges for their time and appreciated all the participants for their spirit.

Prof Anil Danthy, the animator of ICYM introduced the judges. Mr Darren Andrade, the Vice President of ICYM and Ms Ancy Mendonca, secretary of ICYM compered the program. Mr Melroy assisted in arrangements and logistics.

Amidst the large audience, Mrs Cynthia Pinto, the secretary of PPC and Mrs Flavia D’Souza, coordinator for the accleciastical commissions were present.
