No knowledge is ever complete said Fr Jerome Monteiro, Parish Priest addressing a gathering of students and parents joined for career guidance talk. How big our knowledge is, in a growing world nothing is sufficient hence we need to keep learning through different ways, that’s why this session is arranged he added.
Dr Guru Tej and Dr Francisca Tej, from Wisdom Ed, Mangalore were the resource persons and conducted the sessions. Guidance on taking up education and jobs of one’s passion, opportunities abroad and different avenues available in different fields were discussed. Possibilities of internship and quick opportunities for jobs at times of immense need were also analysed.
Fr Pascal Menezes, Mrs. Leena Dsouza, Vice President of PPC, Mrs. Cynthia Pinto, Secretary of PPC, and parents, along with their children/students, were present.
Joswin Aranha, President YCS welcomed the gathering and Melroy Castelino proposed a vote of thanks. Sweedal Mendonca compered the program. Ashton D’Souza helped in technical support. Mrs Jyothi Aranha, Animator – YCS helped students in logistics and arrangements.
