Youth Commission Taize prayer service

The Youth Comission organised an evening of Taize Prayer for the parishioners as a lentern program. Rev Fr Stephen Dsouza, Diocesan Director of Youth conducted and carried the entire prayer service.

Fr Jerome Monteiro, Parish Priest, Fr Pascal Menezes, Sr Jessy Joseph SSpS, Superior,Kripalaya Convent and Mrs Leena Dsouza, Vice President of PPC were present.

The YCS and ICYM members made arrangements for the prayer under the leadership of Mrs Jyothi Aranha, Animator for YCS and coordinator of Youth Comission.

Youngsters and parishioners were present for the prayer service.

Taize Prayer has emerged as a unique kind of prayer for reconciliation and forgiveness around the world.

At the end Mrs Jyothi Aranha proposed vote of thanks.
