Farewell program to Parish Priest and Resident Priest.

It was the Gods grace that nurtured in the company of each other said Fr Jerome Monteiro referring to the presence of Fr Pascal Menezes for six years with him during his address to the parishioners after receiving a touching farewell after Sunday morning mass today May 10, 2026. Transfers and moving from one place to another is inevitable he narrated.

Replying to the felicitation by the parishioners, Fr Pascal Menezes thanked everyone for the cooperation and support and requested prayers in the days to come.

Mrs Leena Dsouza, Vice President of PPC welcomed the gathering and Mrs Jyothi Aranha, coordinator of ecclesiastical commissions proposed vote of thanks. Mrs Cynthia Menezes, secretary of PPC and Prof. Anil Danthy read out the citations of Fr Jerome Monteiro and Fr Pascal Menezes respectively.

The parish bulletin ‘Fatimaso Thalo’ for the year 2025 was released on the occasion.

The PPC members along with the parish choir sung a farewell song under the direction of Mrs Clara Mendonca, a prominent choir member and Mr Darren Andrade played the music for the same.

The parishioners gathered in large numbers to bid farewell to their dear pastors on their transfer to Kalathur and Kuntalnagar Parishes respectively.

Ms Shirley Andrade and Prof. Anil Danthy compered the program.

Food was served to all gathered.
