Inter Community Collaboration is the need of the day opined Mr Penwell Soans, Founder of ‘Asare’ addressing ICYM members on their visit to Asare – Old age home at Pangala Gudde, near Kaup. He appreciated the support extended by institutions similar to ICYM and others.

The members presented cultural items, conducted spot games for inmates and gave away prizes.

Speaking on the occasion Rev Fr Ferdinand Gonsalves, Parish Priest and director of ICYM appreciated the initiation of YCS and ICYM to commemorate International Youth day(August 09) and the mission they carry on in the Parish and in the community.

Members participated and offered prayers in the morning mass in which Fr Ferdinand Gonsalves preached a dashing homily narrating the role of youth in the Parish and the universal Church.

The members contributed grocery items and eatables to Asare old age home.

Mrs Jyothi Aranha and Mr Anil Danthy, animators for YCS and ICYM respectively were present and made arrangements for the visit.
