Catechism Day – 2025

Our mouth should proclaim the glory of God, we learnt from our childhood through catechism and our ears should hear it at the dawn and dusk said Fr Pascal Menezes, preaching a homily on the Catechism Day celebration on Sunday, March 02, 2025.

The word of God is delivered to us through the Gospel, parents, elders and teachers he narrated.

The Catechism students were honoured for their attendance, examination and other achievements. Ms Sweedal Mendonca was felicitated for her contributions to YCS.

The Catechism teachers were felicitated for their efforts in teaching Catechism.

Rev Fr Roshan Dsouza OFM(CAP) was the main celebrant. Fr Jerome Monteiro, Parish Priest concelebrated the mass. The Catechism students conducted the liturgy and thanked everyone responsible for the smooth running of the year-long activities in Catechism classes.

Rev Fr Jerome Monteiro, Parish Priest thanked the teachers for their efforts in training parish children in faith through catechism.

Mrs Violet Lobo, Coordinator for the catechism and Sr Pauline Pereira SSpS, Superior,Kripalaya Convent assisted in organising the program. Catechism teachers and PPC members were present.

Children were given refreshment and had a small together in the parochial house.
