Catechism day was celebrated

The day began with way of cross lead by YCS students. Liturgy was conducted by catechism students ranging from class 5th to class 12. Eucharistic celebration was offered by Fr. Jerome Monteiro, Parish Priest, along with Fr. Pascal Menezes, the resident priest. After the mass, Rosaline Gomes, teachers coordinator conveyed a short message on the importance of attending catechism classes regularly. Prizes were given to the top scores in catechism examination and also for the students who attended catechism regularly. Teachers were given gifts as a token of gratitude.

Refreshments were served to the students after the programme.

To instill missionary spirit among our little children, Missionary Childhood Association had decided to reach out to the needy children in small ways. Members have been putting aside each week some coins sacrificing themselves of something. This was collected on Feb. 3. And offered today during the Eucharistic celebration.
