Christmas Vigil Mass – 2024

God, from the inception of this world was trying to establish a relationship with man, but man was not willing to accept the call said Rev Fr Vincent Crasta, the secretary of the Catholic Education Society of Udupi. He was preaching a dashing homily on the Christmas Vigil Mass as the main celebrant. God sent messages to man through various ways but man did not yield to such messages and messengers, hence God decides to send his Son for the redemption of human kind and in simple we call it christmas he explained.

Rev Fr Roshan Menezes OFM Cap., Rev Fr Pascal Menezes, Rev Fr Preetam Mendonca, OFM Cap. Rev Fr Michael Dsouza CMF joined the concelebration.

Prayers were offered for all the parishioners in the station and outside. A special mention was made for the intentions of all the donors who contributed to the renovation of the church. Sick and elderly were remembered and prayed for good health.

Rev Fr Jerome Monteiro, Parish Priest thanked all the priests for joining the concelebration and people for their involvement and donations on church renovation. The parish priest also thanked various committee heads and members who worked hard for the church blessing and inauguration ceremony on December 22, 2024.

The new permanent crib was blessed by the Parish Priest and inaugurated by Mrs Janet Barboza and Mr Royston Barboza, Janthra.

The Parish choir sung the Carols and added melody to the celebration.

At the end refreshments were served to all gathered and the ICYM put up the santa Show.

Sr Pauline Pereira SSpS, Superior, Kripalaya Convent and PPC members were present.
