Easter Vibes: Celebration of our Lords resurrection.

The celebration of our Lords resurrection was celebrated in the parish beginning with the Easter vigil in which the new fire was created and blessed to symbolise the Christ the light of the world. The faithful marched to the church with lighted candles.
Fr Pascal Menezes devotedly sang the opening antiphon which glorifies the majesty of the Easter night in which the new Christ got resurrection.
Preaching an apt homily the main celebrant Fr Anand Castelino, OFM Cap.connected beautifully the connection between the empty tomb and the person of the risen Lord. Stressing on the virtues of kindness, peace and love Fr Anand said that’s what it means to be Easter in simple.
The choir sang the suitable melodies to mark the joy of resurrection. Fr Jerome Monteiro, the Parish Priest and Fr Pascal Menezes joined the Concelebration.

PPC members and parishioners attended the service in large numbers. After the mass all exchanged Easter wishes.
