Feast of our Lady of Lourdes.

Celebrating the feast of Our Lady of Lourdes is a joyous occasion said Fr Pascal Menezes preaching a homily on the occasion of the feast of Our Lady of Lourdes. He gave a depiction of the apparition of Our Lady of Lourdes to a peasant girl Bernadette Soubirous at Lourdes in France and it’s significance in our life too. Like Bernadette we also should have such a disposition that Mary would appear before us and through us for others he wished.

Rev Fr Jerome Monteiro, Parish Priest joined concelebration and thanked everyone responsible for collaborating with each other to make the celebration meaningful.

At the end of the Eucharistic celebration there was a candle lit procession with the decorated chariot.

Sr Pauline Pereira SSpS, Superior, Kripalaya Convent, Sr Janet Rego SSpS and PPC members were present. The students from the convent helped in decorating the altar and the choir sung the melodies apt for the occasion.
