Feast of St Francis Xavier celebrated as Ward Feast of Erbet Ward.

The Erbet Ward celebrated the feast of their Patron Saint St Francis Xavier today Sunday, November 03, 2023 at Mrs Olivia D’Souza house, Bettu Mane, Erbet.

Fr Pascal Menezes, Sr Janet Rego SSpS, Mrs Cynthia Pinto secretary of PPC, Mr Arun D’Souza vice President of PPC were the guests.

Speaking on the occasion Fr Pascal Menezes applauded the unity and efforts of the Ward members. The distance from the parish and from each house did not keep them seperated he opined. He narrated the relevance of the Ward getting named after St Francis Xavier. The faith the ward has maintained is greater than anything he explained.

Mr Elias D’Souza, the Ward Pratininidhi welcomed the gathering and honoured the gurkars.

Mrs Cynthia D’Souza presented a brief report of the activities of the Ward. Ms. Jenal Noronha compered the program. Mrs Lona Mendonca, the Ward Gurkar proposed vote of thanks.

Mr Jeevan Lobo, President ICYM, Mrs Anitha Castelino, Mrs Violet Tauro, Mr Avil Nazreth were present. Spot games were conducted for the kids. A sumptuous lunch was served for all present.
