First Holy Communion – 2025

Loving Jesus Christ is the meaning of First Holy Communion said Fr Pascal Menezes, preaching a homily on the occasion of Parish First Holy Communion Day of the year 2025. Without the love of the Lord, fellow beings and the poor no religion and its celebrations exist he added.

Three children from the parish received their first Holy Communion after a thorough preparation and learning the catechism of the catholic Church. Mrs. Violet Lobo had prepared the children for the First Holy Communion over a period of 30 days.

Rev Fr Jerome Monteiro, Parish Priest thanked everyone responsible for the day and celebration.

Rev Frs Lawrence Correa SVD, Evan Gomes SVD and Henry Mendonca SVD were present and joined concelebration.
