Good Friday: Commemoration of the death of our Lord

The commemoration of the death of our Lord was held at our Parish today beginning with the solemn Way of the Cross conducted in the open ground in the church campus meaningfully.

The ceremony today had three major parts.

1.The celebration of the word of God,
2.The veneration of the Holy Cross and the

3.Holy Eucharist.

As a part of the celebration of the word of God, Fr Ivan D’Souza, the main celebrant preached a befitting homily connecting the death of Jesus Christ and life of his disciples all of us.

The veneration of the Cross done to mark the death of our Lord on this day and celebration of the Eucharist was done with much devotion and fervour.

Fr Jerome Monteiro, the Parish Priest, Fr Pascal Menezes, Fr Anand Castelino OFM Cap. Joined the Concelebration.

PPC members and faithful participated in large numbers.
