Around 150 elderly persons and Grandparents were present during the mass, Whole liturgy was conducted by Elderly persons and grandparents. Rev Fr. Pascal Menezes celebrated the mass with co celebrant Rev. Fr. John Lobo. Rev Fr. Pascal Menezes in his homily said that the importance of Grandparents and the elderly persons in our life. He said to keep them happy and listen to their grievances. He asked to read the Keerthan 71 at home. “Don’t ignore the elderly persons during my old age” and ask them to practice. He said hence you crossed 1st and 2nd stage and now you are in third stage of your life so enjoy the fullest and ignore the minor suffering. This event recognized the invaluable role of grandparents in our lives and promoted intergenerational bonding. The day was filled with love, gratitude, and appreciation for the elderly.
