Nithyadhar Ward Celebrates the Feast

With the blessings of Nithyadhar Mai we have celebrated the ward feast after almost 8 years and we are grateful to our Lord for this. On 28^th October Saturday evening at 4.00 PM we have offered thanksgiving mass to Nithydhar Mai for the wonders she has done to our ward. Liturgy was conducted by the ward members.

On 29^th October, Sunday at 12.30 noon the celebration taken place at Mr. Henry Castelinos  Grotto. Parish Priest Fr. Jerome Monterio, Resident Priest Fr. Pascal Menezes, nine wards Gurkars/Gurkarns, Vice President, 20 commission coordinator were joined the celebration with us. They were welcomed by our Ward Gurkar Roshan Castelino with Rose flowers. Mrs. Anita Mathias and assigned team members  conducted the Prayers. Mrs. Shanthi DSouza, read the ward report. Earlier Ward President Mr.Henry Castelino, Ward eldest member 94 years Eliza Mathias, 89 years Theresa DSouza  and 77 years Peter DSouza were felicitated and honoured with Man-Patru, shawl and fruit basket for the wonderful service they have rendered  to the ward. Mrs. Anitha Mathias and group played down a skit called “Keppo” to entertain the attendees. Mr. Albert Mathias conducted the games in order to entertain the guest. Parish Priest Fr. Jerome Monterio in his message praised the ward members for wonderfully arranging the function and the way their participation in all activities even though they are a small ward.Fr. Pascal Menezes said that they should be salt of the earth and light to others and blessed on the food and those who prepared it. The guests were served with a sumptuous meal prepared by the ward people. The entire program was compared by Mr. Jerald DSouza. Mrs. Flvia DSouza thanked everyone for their collaboration to make this event successful. Special thanks to all the ward members for their support and help.
