Palm Sunday Observed with Devotion in Our Lady of Fatima Church Pernal.

The Palm Sunday liturgy was observed with great devotion in our Lady of Fatima Church, Pernal on Sunday, 10^th  April 2022 with blessing of palm by Rev. Fr. Pascal Menezes along with Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Jerome Monteiro and Rev.Fr. Henry Mendonca at the newly built open stage on our church ground. Following the blessing of the palms on the Main open stage, people retuned to the church through the main entrance in procession as the choir sang the hymn commemorating the triumphant entry of Jesus into Jerusalem.

The Solemn Mass of the Palm Sunday was concelebrated by Rev.Fr. Pascal Menezes as the chief celebrant along with Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Jerome Monteiro and Rev.Fr. Henry Mendonca

The Passion Gospel was read by Rev. Fr. Jerome Monteiro, Rev. Fr. Pascal Menezes and Rev. Fr. Henry Mendonca. Rev. Fr. Jerome Monteria read the narration, Rev. Fr. Pascal Menezes read the passages uttered by Jesus and Rev. Fr. Henry Mendonca read the passages uttered by other characters in the Holy Gospel.

At the end of the mass. Parish Priest announced the schedule of the service during the Holy Week. The Maundy Thursday, 14 April and Good Friday, 15 April, services will commence at 4.00 P.M. There will be  Outdoor Way of the Cross on Friday at 4.00 PM on newly constructed 14 Stations in our church ground  . The Easter Vigil Service will start at 7 pm on Saturday, 16 April followed by solemn Easter Festive Mass. On Easter Sunday, 17 April there will be mass at 8am morning Mass.
