Quiz Competition Held

YCS, Pernal Unit was able to host and conduct a wonderful Quiz program on 24^th September, in our parish for the students studying from Std VI to Std X.

Melroy Castelino, President – YCS, Pernal, welcomed the gathering.

Quiz covered a spectrum from current affairs of the nation, General Knowledge and Bible based questions. Following were the rounds that were conducted by different YCS members.

1. Bible Quiz.
2. General Knowledge
3. Guess the Logo
4. Picture Round
5. Logic Thinking.

There were 3 teams of 7 members each. Parish Priest Fr. Jerome Monteiro and Fr. Pascal Menezes was also present during this event.

Fr. Jerome Monteiro, during his speech, emphasized on conducting such events, particularly on Bible quiz, in further days to come. This would help students to grow spiritually.

Fr. Pascal Menezes congratulated the YCS members for their amazing co ordination and interest in making this event a grand success. Since this was a first initiative by the YCS students, he applauded the confidence, involvement of every member and the leadership qualities in them.

Sr. Pauline Periera, YCS animator who had been a great support for this event was unable to attend due to her Community commitments.

Mrs. Rosaline Gomes, YCS animator, thanked the Parish Priest for his support to conduct this event, Catechism teachers for letting their students to attend the competition.

The event ended by distributing prizes to the teams, who grabbed the First, second and Third prize respectively.
