Parishioners Welcome the New Year 2023 with Adoration and Holy Mass.

The new year eve was celebrated at Our Lady of Fatima Church, Pernal on December 31, 2022 with a concelebrated high mass in which Rev. Fr Rathan D’almeida OCD, Professor of Christology, International Institute of Spirituality, Dhyanavana, Mysore was the main celebrant. He conducted a meaningful Adoration of the blessed sacrament in the beginning to thank the Lord for the blessings during the whole year and to seek His benevolence throughout the new year 2023.

In his homily Fr Rathan stressed upon the concept of motherhood of Mary as the mother of God and mother of Jesus. He explained upon recognizing the sacrifices of our mothers in our families and difficulties that mother Mary went through in the history of salvation.
Rev Fr Jerome Monteiro, Parish Priest, and Rev Fr Pascal Menezes joined in concelebrating the Holy Eucharist.
The church choir sung their voices to heaven and other participants made the entire liturgy vibrant. At the end of mass Parish Priest Fr. Jerome monterio wished everyone on behalf Fr. Ratan, Fr. Pascal and himself a blessed 2023 new year,

At 6.45 PM before the adoration Mr. Vinay Kumar Sorake Ex. MLA Kaup, visited the church and wished a blessed new year to our Parish Priest, Fr. Jerome Monterio and Resident Priest Fr. Pascal Menezes.
