YCS Beginners Training Program held at our Church Hall.

Beginners training program for YCS students of Shirva Denary was held on 21-07-2024 at 1.30 pm to 4.30 pm in our Parish Hall. Mr. Richard Alvares was our Resource person.

The program was started with prayer song by the YCS Members of Shirva Unit. Ms Sweedal Mendonca President of YCS Shirva Denary brought the honorable guests of the day, Our Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Jerome Monteiro, Asst. Parish Priest Rev. Fr Pascal Menezes, Rev. Fr. Steevan Fernandes, director of YCS Udupi Diocese, Rev Fr. Ronson Pinto director of  YCS Shirva Denary, Mr. Anson Nazareth National President of  India YCS/YSM, Mr. Joshwa Fernandes President of YCS Udupi diocese, Mrs. Jacintha Maria Mathias Animator of  YCS Denary, Ms. Relisha Fernandes, Secretary of YCS Shirva Denary and our honorable Chief guest Mr. Richard Alvares. The Program began at 1.45pm. The Director of YCS Udupi diocese Rev Fr. Stevan Fernandes delivered a speech about the importance of YCS. Our Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Jerome Monteiro delivered a sweet message to the YCS students. After the Inauguration ceremony, the YCS central Council members divided the YCS students into groups and organized some action songs and some games.

Our Chief guest Mr. Richard Alvares had a lovely session with the students. Through positive outlooks and making jokes Sir followed on what YCS/YSM why is it important and how it works. He also explained the five important objectives to the students. Sir divided the students among group and made a president and secretary from each group. He held some activities and asked questions and interacted with the students. He encouraged the Students to become a part of the YCS team. At this Interval Most. Rev. Dr. Leslie Clifford D’Souza the Parish priest of Shirva Church shared some of his experience and encouraged the students who were gathered in the program. In the last Session the YCS central council members held Some group dynamics.

Indeed it was day of joy, day of love, and all the students enjoyed the Program.
