Teachers day was celebrated this morning, Sunday, September 04, 2022 at Our Lady of Fatima Church, Pernal, under the leadership of ICYM unit. 27 teachers both retired and in service were felicitated. Mr Alwyn Danthy, Senior Graduate Assistant, Mount Rosary English School, Santhekatte, Udupi was the chief guest. Speaking on the occasion Mr Alwyn Danthy called on to the youth to go out of the Church campus to prove themselves and achieve heights. Fr Pascal Menezes, Resident Priest spoke on the occasion and wished teachers good in life. Mrs Leena D’Souza spoke on behalf of the felicitated teachers and thanked ICYM unit for the initiative. 

Prof. Anil Danthy, Animator – ICYM, Mr Avil Nazareth, Secretary – ICYM, Sr Pauline Pereira SSpS, Superior, Kripalaya Convent were present.

Mr Jeevan Lobo, President – ICYM welcomed the gathering and Ms Jeslin Correa proposed vote of thanks. Ms Crisel Danthy, Vice-President – ICYM compered the program.

Mr Jeston Rebello initiated few fun games for teachers and added festivity in to the program.
