Commemoration of the entry of our Lord into Jerusalem – Palm Sunday

Parish today celebrated Palm Sunday to commemorate the entry of our Lord into Jerusalem.
This day marks the messianic and prophetic completion of Jesus coming to an end in this world.

Palms were blessed in front of the Grotto and has a solemn procession to the Church. Rev. Fr Jerome Monteiro, Parish Priest was the main celebrant and preached a wonderful homily narrating the relevance of the day. Fr Pascal Menezes joined the concelebration.

With the commemoration of the Palm Sunday the Catholics of the world begin the Holy Week till the dawn of Easter Morning to mark the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Members of the PPC and ICYM members collaborated in seeing through the arrangements of the day.

We wish every parishioner in house and abroad a very holy week ahead.
