Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes – Grotto Fest

Mary’s aparitions not only at Lourdes to a peasant teenage girl Bernadette Soubiroh but also at different locations of the world has brought hope for the mankind in the history of salvation said Fr Lawrence Dsouza, from the Diocese of Shimoga during his homily. Mary’s ability to listen to the words of her son should inspire us too he added.

Special prayers were offered for our brothern abroad and all those seek healing from various ailments. The Women fellowship of the parish had made all the arrangements of the festivities.

Fr Pascal Menezes joined the concelebration and thanked all those helped in making necessary arrangements. Sr Jessy Joseph SSpS, Superior, Kripalaya Convent, Mrs Leena Dsouza, Vice President of PPC, Mrs Cynthia Pinto, secretary of PPC and Mrs Jyothi Aranha, Convener of the ecclesiastical commissions, members of PPC and faithful were present.

At the culmination a candle light procession was held in the church campus.
