Easter Vigil – 2026

To witness Christ is the call we get on Easter to live it’s spirit till another Easter said Rev Fr Ronald Lobo, Asst Director, Fr Muller Medical College Hospital, kankanady, Mangalore, Diocese of Mangalore preaching a dashing homily at the Easter Vigil as it’s main celebrant.

One who exalts Christ in front of the world, will surely get exalted in front of God the Father he opined with relevant instances around the world.

To mark the solemnity of the Vigil, the fire was made and the Easter Candle was lit. The water was blessed into new Holy water and the congregation was sanctified by the same.

The faithful gathered pronounced the promises of the Baptism once again.

Solemn prayers were offered for the Church, nation, leaders, priests and religious, freedom and world peace.

Fr Jerome Monteiro, Parish Priest, Fr Pascal Menezes and Fr Preetham Mendonca OFM Cap, joined concelebration.

Fr Jerome Monteiro, Parish Priest wished every parishioner inhouse and abroad a blessed feast of resurrection of our Lord and specially prayed for peace in the world and safety of our parishioners abroad.

Mrs Leena Dsouza, Vice President of PPC, Mrs Cynthia Pinto, Secretary of PPC and Sr Jessy Joseph SSpS, Superior Kripalaya Convent were present.

At the end refreshments were served.
