Annual Feast – 2023

Example is better than words – said very Rev. Monsignor Ferdinand Roque Gonsalves, the Vicar General of the Diocese of Udupi during the annual feast. He was preaching the Homily as the main celebrant of the Eucharistic Celebration. Continuing his homily Rev. Monsignor Ferdinand Roque Gonsalves quoted the life saga of Carol Joseph Voytila, who later became Pope John Paul II and now St John Paul II, who had tremendous devotion and love to Mary our heavenly mother.

In the beginning, the Parish honoured the faithful for being supportive to the parish through various ways. This also included donors and people of goodwill.

During the celebration Very Rev. Monsignor Ferdinand Roque Gonsalves was felicitated for being taken over as the Vicar General of the diocese of Udupi. Fr Jerome Monteiro, Parish Priest did the honours.

Rev. Dr Leslie D’Souza, Vicar Forane of the Shirva deanery, Fr John Mendonca, parish priest of St Teresa Church, Mukamar, Fr Fredrick D’Souza from Mudarangady parish, Fr Arnold Mathias SDB and many more priests and religious were present.

Mr Arun D’Souza, vice President of PPC and Mrs Cynthia Pinto, secretary of PPC saw every necessary arrangement.

Fr Jerome Monteiro, the Parish Priest thanked everyone.
