Koraje ward Feast and assign the ward to St.Teresa of Kolkata popularly called Mother Teresa

It was a great day for the people at koraje Ward as they are assigned to the holy patronage of St Teresa of Kolkata popularly known as Mother Teresa in a touching prayer service held at Mr Alex Castelino house.

Blessing the occassion Fr Jerome Monteiro, Parish Priest congratulated the ward for this blessing and called upon to them to be kind and considerate to each other because St Teresa of Kolkata was kind to everyone she met throughout her life.

Sr Pauline Periera SSpS, superior of our convent was the chief guest. She stressed upon the qualities like being small would surely become beautiful presentation to God. She congratulated the ward members for having chosen St Teresa of Kolkata as their patron saint.

Silver and golden wedding Jubilarians, students with high academic order and former gurkar Mr Belchour Mendonca were felicitated for their service.

Mr Arun D’Souza, vice President of PPC, Mrs Cynthia Pinto, secretary of PPC, Mrs Flavia D’Souza, coordinator for ecclesiastical commissions, and gurkars from other wards were present.

Ward head Mrs Anitha Castelino welcomed the gathering and Mrs Hilda Castelino proposed vote of thanks.

All present and the guests were served with a sumptuous festive lunch prepared by the ward members.
