New Year Eve 2023. Solemnity of Mary Mother of God.

Mothers should focus on the four basic concepts such as body, soul, mind and heart of their children because Mary Mother of Jesus took care of her son in these four major components said Rev Fr Reginald Pinto, Director of Sampada, Udupi Diocese.

He was preaching a vibrant homily during the concelebrated high mass in the parish on the new year eve. Mary saw to it that Jesus grew up physically, spiritually, mentally he was sound with feelings and he was compassionate and kind hearted he narrated. If we the faithful suffer any of these concepts in our lives the new year would be the time to reconcile and repair our four basic components that make us human -he stressed.

Rev Fr Jerome Monteiro, the Parish Priest, Fr Pascal Menezes and Fr Henry Mendonca SVD joined the concelebration.

Fr Jerome Monteiro, Parish Priest thanked everyone for making the year 2023 a wonderful year of service and joy.

In the beginning Fr Reginald Pinto conducted Adoration of the blessed sacrament, thanking the Lord for all the blessings each one received from above especially good health and prosperity.

Mr Arun D’Souza, Vice President of PPC, Mrs Cynthia Pinto, Secretary of PPC and Mrs Flavia D’Souza, head of the ecclesiastical commissions were present.

The ICYM members put a tiny program to usher the New year 2024. Prizes were distributed to the winners of various competitions conducted by ICYM.
