Parish Day-2023

Sports Competition : Day 1.

In preparation for the upcoming parish day on May 14, 2023 the ICYM unit organized a Tug of War competition for the parishioners.

The event began with fun games for all in the beginning with bombing the city game and slow two wheeler races for above 18 and slow cycle races for kids. The kids also had small games like lemon and the spoon conducted by the YCS boys.

The tug of War competition was symbolically inaugurated by Fr Pascal Menezes and Mr Jeston Rebello, the immediate past President of ICYM. The event was participated by eight Wards out of total ten wards. It recorded the heavy competition between all the participating wards and finally St Antony (Janthra) and SFX Ward (Erbet) shot up as winners and runners respectively.

Fr Pascal Menezes spoke at the end of the event and expressed his joy over the whole show.
On April 30th, 2023 the throw ball match would follow with fun games for kids and on May 01, 2023 the Bible based skit competition will be held in the church hall between 5 to 6 pm.
