Solemnity of Mary Mother of God and new year vigil.

There is no difference between the influence of our heavenly mother and our mother on earth because both teach us similar values in life, that’s why Mother of God who reared a son who bore all our sins and that’s why we honour her today said Rev Fr Willson Dsouza, Director designate, Diocesan Biblical, Catechetical and liturgical Centre, Anugraha, Udupi. Therefore Mary remains as mother of God for all ages as a blessing to all of us he narrated. A devotional adoration of the blessed sacrament preceded the mass and the eucharistic lord was praised and thanked for all that was good and also the shortcomings. The adoration was conducted by Fr Wilson Dsouza.

Rev Fr Jerome Monteiro, Parish Priest thanked various individuals who took care of many requirements of the solemnity and new year vigil. Fr Pascal Menezes, and Rev Fr Michael Dsouza CMF joined the concelebration.

The choir sung the melodies apt for the Mass and adoration.After the Mass the ICYM unit conducted new year events, cake and auction. Winners were given with prizes.

Rev Sr Pauline Pereira SSpS, Superior, Kripalaya Convent, Sr Janet Rego SSpS, PPC members and parishioners were present in large numbers.
