YCS Unit Election Report 2026–27

The YCS Unit Elections for the year 2026–27 of Our Lady of Fatima Church, Pernal, were successfully conducted on 7th June 2026 at the church premises. The program commenced sharply at 9:30 a.m.

The Master of Ceremony for the event was Mr. Joswin Aranha, who warmly welcomed all the dignitaries and members present for the occasion.

The dignitaries present for the program included the Parish Priest of Our Lady of Fatima Church, Pernal, Rev. Fr. Ferdinand Gonsalves, YCS Shirva Deanery and YCS Pernal Unit Animator Mrs. Jyothi Aranha, and the Church Catechism Coordinator Mrs. Violet Lobo.

During the program, Mr. Joswin Aranha shared his memorable experiences and journey in YCS, encouraging the members to actively participate in the activities of the organization. Rev. Fr. Ferdinand Gonsalves delivered a meaningful and inspiring speech to the YCS members, motivating them to grow in faith, leadership, and service.

The election process was then conducted smoothly with the guidance and support of Mr. Joswin Aranha and Mrs. Jyothi Aranha.

The following members were elected as the new office bearers for the year 2026–27:

1. President – Mr. Nathan Fernandes
2. Secretary – Ms. Melora Castelino
3. Treasurer – Mr. Deon Lobo
4. YouCat Incharge – Ms. Edal Mendonca
5. PRO – Mr. Sherwin Mendonca

The program concluded with the Vote of Thanks delivered by Mr. Joswin Aranha, who expressed gratitude to all the dignitaries, members, and participants for making the event successful.
