Annual/lenten Retreat -2024

Offering a sacrifice to God without being reconciled to the aggrieved brother will not please God said Rev Fr Franklin D’Souza, a renowned retreat Preacher known for evangelizing people through the word of God preached throughout the world.
Getting angry is normal, but remaining in anger is what makes us cause sin opined Fr Franklin D’Souza.

He was preaching a three day retreat to the parishioners keeping in mind the devotion of Lent and preparation for the feast of resurrection.

During the retreat days there was mass and adoration, sharing the word of God and praise and worship. The sacrament confession was undertaken and people were given the prominence of undertaking the importance of Penance and reconciliation with self, one another, God and the environment.

On the third day Mrs Cynthia Pinto, Secretary of PPC expressed her gratitude to Fr Franklin D’Souza for preaching a dashing retreat and carrying the faithful through a journey of purification.

Fr Jerome Monteiro, Parish Priest and Fr Pascal Menezes joined together to organise the retreat. Sr Pauline Periera SSpS superior of the convent and her team got associated with the retreat in a major way.
